This injury is really irritating me. :) Yes, this is after 3 months. I thought, a few weeks ago, that I would be going back to jits very shortly, but I still can't roll over that shoulder, shrimp on that shoulder, or Upa over that shoulder. I'm getting a lot of treadmill time in, drilling in my
living room, and stretching, stretching, stretching my shoulder. It hurts a lot lately, kind of like it did in the 2nd month. I don't think I'm overdoing it, but apparently it's still a fine line.

Injuries always take longer than you want them to, but make sure you take it easy - if you reinjure it you'll be out for even longer. Slow and steady - if you're approaching this as a problem set, which it sounds like you do, then your risk/reward ratio has to be off the chart.
Yes, you are right, you are right!! Always good to hear someone else say "take it easy" as a reminder. ;) The risk/reward ratio is super highly important and constantly in my mind. That's why I haven't gone back yet; I know that I'll forget and Upa or shrimp over the shoulder and something will go wrong, thereby totally increasing the length of time I'm out. I've definitely assimilated the mental lessons from this injury, including patience, but waaaaaaah. ;-}
As you say, slow and steady.
